This is an individual greetings card depicting a black swan – original painting by Duffy Tomei

This painting was inspired by seeing a rare black swan swimming serenely in a pond without a care in the world.  I took a few snaps for my memoirs but had no idea they were so rare until I did a little research to clarify the colouring of the plumage.  Who can blame me for wanting to recreate such a beautiful bird with my paints.
