This is a painting of a beautiful local scenic spot. It’s a view of the beach that I walk regularly from Frinton on Sea towards Holland on Sea. This is a sight often seen on the journey home when the tide is in. Fortunately there’s a promenade high above, allowing an optional route when the waves crash against the sea wall, and the water claims the sand for a few hours each day. In the distance you can spy the side of a beach hut, the first in the line of pretty huts that edge the beach all along this part of the coast.
