A few of my earlier paintings were created under the guidance and instruction of mentors.  Many famous artists worked as apprentices to the great masters to learn their trade, and we all have to begin our journey of understanding art somewhere.  This painting was created at a workshop with Lesley Lord, a professional and experienced local water colour artist.  I learned so much at this workshop and although this is very much my own painting I must acknowledge Lesley’s assistance in the manufacture of it.

Using the information gleaned at Lesley’s workshop, I have gone on to paint other animal portraits.   Happy to take commissions.
