After a year of struggling with the concept of watercolours, I suddenly discovered the secret – water. ‘The clue is in the name’ my tutors assured me, and they were, unsurprisingly, correct.
Confident with my newfound skill, I decided to try and paint without guidance. It would perhaps have been an idea to start with a simple subject but that is not my character. Why choose either a landscape, waterscape or a building, when you can do all three at once?
